A staging of the Chant of the Sybil, a Majorcan Christmas tradition, recently appointed a masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The 2010 version of the performance presents initiator and vocalist Carmen Jaime, musicians Hernán Livolsi, Sjaak Ebell and Jordi Tugores, actors Josep Avellà and Andrea Hernadi. As usual the mise-en-scène will be lit by hundreds of candles and incorporate other special effects.
There will be an introduction explaining the historical basis of the "Sibil.la" in various languages.
Sa Nau opens at 8:30 p.m. “Sybilline” supper available (15 €).

New Year´s Eve Party - Friday, December 31
Who would like to eat grapes with us, this New Years?If we have a party, we want to make sure it will be a FABULOUS party (who knows, it may be the last)!
With a great mix of people, great food, great music, a great atmosphere. To usher in what will be a great year (or at least, please, a much better year than this one).
We propose the Mallorca Sound Machine - Mallorca's best Cuban band - and other entertainment. Grand Buffet which includes stuffed peacock, lobster soup, spicy spare ribs, baked fish, and much, much more... followed by cava, bonfire, grapes, firework and great dancing. We will encourage dressing up. We will give a prize to the best New Year's Toast of under 10 seconds in length, in any of our 4 official languages. We are looking into the possibility of providing a cheap minibus service to drive people home...
Places are limited to around a hundred.
