Seismic Wave - Onda Sismica

After the success of "Benditos Todos” in January, the young artists and volunteers of Sa Taronja propose "Seismic Wave", another party-event with the music, art and design of this group that seems to represent an emerging movement. The bands Not Welcome, Raconik, Mundaka, Brando, and Natxo Bassols will perform. "The Children of Eva" are in charge of décor, Installation and ambience. The 2nd Edition of the Fanzine "Refugee" will be presented.

Enramando Mallorca
(at Son Castell de S'ARRACÒ)

Sa Taronja is collaborating with other associations in “Enramando Mallorca”, which involves planting native trees in the region. The project aims to teach the planting and care of trees.

Performance by Frank van de Ven

A dance-movement piece invoking the realms of abundance.

Layers of time, meaning and decision.
Frank van de Ven is a dancer and director who spent his formative years in Japan working with Min Tanaka and Maijuku Company (1983-1992). He is one of the foremost Body Weather practitioners in Europe performing, directing and teaching regularly all over Europe as well as in the USA, New Zealand and Australia. In his current visit to Mallorca he presents his work on Abundance in Sa Taronja and offers a Body Weather Workshop on March 19th and 20th in AuMents Creation Center ( ) More info: 687 668 832.

Artistic residence: Pengim-Penjam: Circus, dance, music and cabaret. The Pengim-Penjam partnership hails from Girona and will spend a week in Sa Taronja working, teaching and sharing their skills with young people and children in Andratx.
There will be Circus workshops for children on Thursday 24th  from 5 to 7 p.m. and for young people on Friday March 25th from 5 to 7 p.m. (5 € per participant).

In our workshop, we see art as a means of relating to oneself and to the environment. Considering that each child is a creative being with an innate need to explore and investigate, we emphasize the imaginative process and encourage children in their creative thinking by providing the tools and the setting for it to flourish.
