A night to delight fans of rock, reggae and punk:

DEZANATTA,
the best local band specializing in psychodelic reggae punk,
presents its new CD "2043", accompanied by Action Painting by Fu Man Two
Opening bands include the young group NOT WELCOME (punk rock) and from S'Arracó, SANDERS (rock and reggae)

Entry is FREE
Sa Nau opens at 8 pm for drinks and food
Music begins at 9 pm

MARMALADE DAY - Sunday, February 13

ORANGES! and more oranges! The trees at Sa Taronja ("the Orange") are heavy with fruit.

We will be making our first batch of (sweet orange) marmalade next Sunday, February 13th. Participation fee: 5€

Visitors may come and watch, but we prefer those who are prepared to get their fingers sticky. All helpers go home with a pot or two of delicious marmalade made from our organic oranges. You can stay for part or all of the day.

Serious volunteers are very welcome - please bring empty jars!

Note: this is not an activity suitable for small children, but children and families are welcome to come and "pick their own" - we sell our organic oranges and lemons at 2€/kilo for the benefit of Sa Taronja.

Programme:

11:00 - picking oranges
11:15 - squeezing and cutting
12:30 - 15:00: cooking the marmalade
15:30 - 16:30: sterilising and filling the jars.

Lunch available by reservation.

It takes place as usual at 20.00h in the main house.

Open Stage - Friday, February 25

OPEN STAGE is open mike night for musicians and performers, offering a stage for all kinds of talents. Come and show what you can do. A great evening guaranteed for performers and public.

This Friday, apart from the musicians, there will be a tango demonstration by Claudia and Bernd.

Brainstorming Meeting – Sunday, February 27

Tina is looking forward to sharing a glass of wine with members and friends of Sa Taronja who would like to participate in a "brainstorming" about Sa Taronja and its future rôle. As usual this will be a multi-lingual discussion - all are welcome.

Matances - Sunday, January 30

The UM has once again decided to hold their "Matances" in Sa Taronja's grounds.

A very appropriate activity for our ex-chicken farm...

10:30 - the opening celebration
11:00 - cutting up the pig, with a traditional snack.
11:30 - grinding the meat
12:30 - kneading it together with black and red pepper
13:30 - a tasting of traditional "Frit de matances" followed by the filling of the sausages
