"Aires de Grapelli
"Stephane Grapelli, one the greatest violin jazz players, is known for his legendary collaboration with guitarrist Django Reinhardt in the '30s and '40s. He has been called "the grandfather of jazz violinists" and influenced a whole generation of violin players. One of them is Soriana Ivaniv, who will play her electrified violin in the style that Grappelli made famous.

There are slow nights and there are passionate nights, solo nights and JAM-nights. There are always men with guitars.... but Open Stage also embraces dancers, stand-up comics, sword-swallowers, poets, pianists, yodellers and trumpeters….. So come out of hiding, all you closet contortionists, magicians and word-weavers….
Let's make Open Stage a celebration of south-west Majorcan creativity, this Friday is for you!
