Barnakústica - Friday, August 15

Barnakústica – World Music / World groove + creative voice

An international band, born on the streets of Barcelona in 2006, blending influences of Indian, African and Latin music. Featuring the Hang drum, enchanting the listener with its tones that are both melodic & percussive at the same time. Barnakústica hosts 3 Hang drums, saxophone, sitar, flute, percussion, overtone singing, and a vocalist who sings in English and Spanish, incorporating rhythmic voice styles from Africa and India.

Barnakústica's concert grows from a most tender and soothing sentiment and culminates with pulsing and ecstatic rhythms for dancing.

A fan said, "These guys hypnotize people in the streets of Barcelona & they sell CDs like hot cakes. Their sound is wonderful!"
