Friday, May 29th 2009 - Wine Tasting Club in Limón y Chelo

BODEGA SON VIVES

The third in our series of wine tastings. We have invited the BODEGA SON VIVES from Banyalbufar to present their delicious wines from the north coast of Mallorca.
A small vinyard which puts the focus on the Malvasia grape variety, one of the oldest varieties of white grape that has been cultivated in nearly all the islands of the Mediterranean since time immemorial. Malvasia wine is characterised by its aromatic potential; fruit accents predominate, reminiscent of pear and melon. A dry, fresh wine, well structured and complex.
Son Vives also produces a red, a crianza with one year in the barrel, a blend of the varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Manto Negro.

A special menu designed to accompany three different wines will be created by our chef Gustavo Tempesta.
