Our last JAZZ LUNCH of the season

Dixie Swing Trio

GEOFF FROSELL trombone
MIGUEL ANGEL PERICAS piano

STEVE BERGENDY bass

The trombonist Geoff Frosell, the English gentleman of the jazz scene in Mallorca, stands for solid mainstream jazz. A jazz lunch not only for fans of the old times, but also the large evergreens swing up to the groove of the 60s. At his side, Geoff has the virtuoso bassist Steve Bergendy and the brilliant pianist Miguel Angel Pericas.

Dixieland is a name given to the style of jazz performed by early jazz musicians. It was developed in New Orleans, and is one of the earliest styles of jazz music. The Swing era began in the 30's when big band swing music reached its peak. Both styles saw a sort of a revival in the late 1950s and 1960s.

Limón y Chelo opens at 1 p.m for lunch
Live music starts at 2 p.m.
