INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2014
As usual, Sa Taronja celebrates this day with a wonderful, participatory concert.
It is a day to be proud of the achievements of women and honour women's work and women's strength.
The "working women" who will be entertaining us on March 8 work with their voices, their imaginations and their bodies: Singers Sheela Gathright and Carmen Jaime, well known to Sa Taronja's fans, have once again come up with a new, different, highly creative and joyful interpretation of Women's Day. They are accompanied by violinist Mariyana Dimova and other musician friends, and also by the 20-women-strong group "Africa Alaró" who, with their African dance teacher Mamadou Diop, will be pulsing to the rhythms of percussionists N'gor, Abdoulaye und Luis, with the startling work of painter Mayte Bayón providing a graphic backdrop.
We invite you all to come and dance! - (men, too!)
Admission is € 10 and the music starts at 9 pm
Bar Sa Nau opens at 20 h for food and drinks (menu 15€)
Members discount 20% - Reservations 971 235 268
