presents writer/director Wes Anderson at his idiosyncratic best.
Set in 1965 on an idyllic New England island called New
Penzance: orphaned 12-year-old Sam Shakusky (Jared Gilman) attending a
"Khaki Scout" summer camp meets Suzy Bishop (Kara Hayward) who lives
on the island with her lawyer parents Walt (Bill Murray) and Laura (Frances
McDormand). They fall in love and decide to flee. Various factions are mobilized to
search for them and the town is turned upside down -- which might not be such a
bad thing…
