Sa Taronja presents MUJERES EN ESCENA (“Women on the Stage”) in a free adaptation of two theatrical pieces staged according to the experimental theatre method developed by Jessica Walker. It is a two-part programme: in the first part, Natalia López Santa Cruz, an Argentinian performer based in Spain, presents Lady Macbeth, inspired by the character from Shakespeare’s play; in the second, the Catalan Alba Segarra offers us Fragmentos 1, a free adaptation of Psychosis 4.48 by Sara Kane. Two solo performances recreating the delirante/ headlong .. hair-raising .. rollercoaster trajectory/career/ride towards death, in the life of these two women.
After the performance you’ll have a chance to get to know more about the artists, who will give a talk about their work, its history, and what led them to it.(length: 55 min.)
AND THEN... an “ART NIGHT SUPPER”
