MUJERES EN ESCENA
(“Women on the Stage”)
/ “ART NIGHT SUPPER”

PERFORMANCE / ART THEATRE (in Spanish)

Sa Taronja presents MUJERES EN ESCENA (“Women on the Stage”) in a free adaptation of two theatrical pieces staged according to the experimental theatre method developed by Jessica Walker. It is a two-part programme: in the first part, Natalia López Santa Cruz, an Argentinian performer based in Spain, presents Lady Macbeth, inspired by the character from Shakespeare’s play; in the second, the Catalan Alba Segarra offers us Fragmentos 1, a free adaptation of Psychosis 4.48 by Sara Kane. Two solo performances recreating the delirante/ headlong .. hair-raising .. rollercoaster trajectory/career/ride towards death, in the life of these two women.
After the performance you’ll have a chance to get to know more about the artists, who will give a talk about their work, its history, and what led them to it.(length: 55 min.)

AND THEN... an “ART NIGHT SUPPER”
You will be rewarded with a very delicious communal supper (which includes all kinds of pure bio products from Sa Taronja’s gardens) for the unbelievable price of 7€ (phone or email reservation please at 971 235 268)

PULMÓN BEATBOX

Pulmón Beatbox (Dani Lleonart) is a “live producer” whose music echoes funk, electro-swing, tech-house, latin and dub. The beatboxer and vocalist produces all kinds of music making each session into a unique event. On stage he uses supersonic devices that allow him to create entire productions triggered only with his voice. His strong rhythms and electric-organic sound makes people dance like crazy!
We will be hearing both his original work and the songs and versions of the likes of Ray Charles, Bob Marley, Lipps Inc, Manu Chao, Daft Punk or Skrillex.
SA NAU 9 p.m. / 6€
